Bronwyn Dowling
SENIOR PROGRAM DIRECTOR
As Applerouth's most tenured Senior Program Director, Bronwyn brings a wealth of experience in helping families navigate the world of college admissions testing. She first joined Applerouth as a tutor in 2008, later transitioning to a full-time Program Advisor role in 2012 before becoming a Program Director in 2023. Her extensive background as a tutor gives her unique insight into test prep strategies and helps her determine the best test—SAT or ACT—for each student.
Many of the families Bronwyn works with are navigating the test prep process for the first time. With her deep understanding of the exams, she ensures they feel confident and informed, empowering them to make the best decisions for their child's academic journey.
When it comes to study plans, Bronwyn’s motto is: "It depends!" She knows that test prep is not one-size-fits-all. Through thoughtful conversations with families, she tailors recommendations based on each student's scores, goals, academic profile, extracurricular commitments, and more. In addition to test prep, she also helps coordinate academic tutoring, executive functioning coaching, and AP exam preparation.
Bronwyn graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received the William S. Kell Presidential Award for Academic Excellence, recognizing the student with the highest GPA in the graduating class.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Bronwyn moved to Atlanta in elementary school and has called Georgia home ever since. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, Bas, and keeping up with hobbies, including cross-stitching, baking, and watching Formula 1 racing.
