SummerMatch.me Release Notes

What's New in SummerMatch.me

We're excited to announce the beta launch of SummerMatch.me - the AI-powered summer planning platform built specifically for high school students. Our goal is to revolutionize how students approach summer planning by providing personalized recommendations that align to each student's unique interests, needs and aspirations.

At the heart of SummerMatch.me is our AI-enabled recommendation engine. By answering a few prompts, students open up about their ideal summer - from skill-building and internships to community service, recreation and more. Our AI reviews each response to get to know students as individuals and match them to summer activities that fit their goals. We've compiled a database of over 1,600 summer programs, camps, internships and other opportunities that students can browse and save to their favorites. As students engage with activities in the platform, our AI continues to refine recommendations to their evolving interests.

We can't wait for you to experience SummerMatch.me Email us at team@summermatch.me if you have any suggestions to improve the app or any questions.

The Technology SummerMatch.me That Utilizes

SummerMatch.me is a web app from the team at College Match. Our focus is empowering every student to feel motivated, engaged, fulfilled, and proud of how they spent their summer break. This app is built in bubble.io, with AI tools from MyAskAI that combine semantic AI and ChatGPT 4. Profile data is housed in bubble.io, utilizing their security stack. The database is built in airtable, and is synched with the app utilizing Whalesync. At this point all of the code we utilize is proprietary, but we continue to look at open source alternatives.
