1The Comprehensive Package

The Comprehensive Package is ideal for families seeking consistent assistance throughout the entire college admissions process. Each student has a customized online portal to manage task and deadlines including college list, recommendations, essay prompts, and testing dates.

This package can begin during the sophomore, junior or senior year. I have an enhanced Comprehensive Package for students with ADHD.

2MatchPoint College Hourly Services

Hourly services are ideal for families who only need assistance with a discreet part of the college planning process. This allows families maximum flexibility.  You are welcome to mix and match services. Hourly services work well for self motivated, independent students.

There is a 2 hour minimum when working at an hourly rate.

Evaluation of Student Records:

I review each student’s transcript, testing, course selection, and extracurricular activities. Suggestions will be provided on testing, course selection, and extracurricular activities.

Assessment:

I administer Myers Briggs personality test and the Strong Campbell Interest Inventory. A 27 page report of the student’s interests, strengths, and values will be provided

Organizational Framework:

Student will have access to a customized online portal for organization and application support. A manageable timeline will be developed for each student to complete his or her applications

Development of College List:

I develop a written researched list of colleges for your student to consider. This list will be based on my campus visits, colleague recommendations, and extensive research.

Student will receive a list of up to 18 colleges with an initial list of 12 colleges.

College Selection:

Once the fat envelope arrives, the consultant will help your student determine which college will provide the best match.

Financial Planning:

A list of financial aid resources will be provided.

Application Support:

I will provide feedback and direction as the student completes each task including:

  • Recommendations: Suggestions on who to ask for recommendations and template for brag sheet.
  • College Essay: I provide 1-hour essay brainstorming for up to three essays. In addition, I provide 2 hours of essay editing.
  • Resume: I provide a template for the resume and will review it.
  • Applications: I will review your online application for up to 8 schools.
